FULL-TIME & SEMESTER TENNIS PROGRAMS
Recognized as the standard in player development and personal character growth, Evert Tennis Academy’s full-time training program is geared towards players who are committed to maximizing their potential both on and off the court. The legacy started with Jimmy Evert – for 50 years the leader of American tennis coaching – developing talent at Holiday Park in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; one year sending nine students to Wimbledon. The equipment, players, and playing styles have all evolved since then, but the core principles of Excellence, Resilience, Integrity and Leadership continue today at the Evert Tennis Academy.
Chrissie and John Evert pride themselves on handpicking some of the finest developmental coaches working in the sport. The training each student receives at Evert Tennis Academy will not only provide them with all the necessary physical and mental tools required to succeed in the game of tennis, but also in the game of life. We are renowned for constructing personalized programs to help each Evert Tennis Academy student achieve his or her tennis, collegiate and career goals. Our coaches provide on-court training that is focused and intensive, balanced with off-court mental and physical conditioning that is unparalleled in the industry.
EVERT TENNIS ACADEMY OFFERS 3 DIFFERENT TRAINING PROGRAMS
The Developmental Program at Evert Tennis Academy is designed to take players to the next level by providing a very exclusive, individualized program. This program systematically addresses every aspect of a player’s game by daily technical, tactical, and match-play training. Evert Tennis Academy’s Strength & Conditioning and Mental Conditioning departments will also work very closely with all Evert Tennis Academy students on a daily basis in order to fully reach each student’s maximum potential at Evert. The difference between the Developmental Program and Academy Program lies within the daily 1:1 lesson (see Daily Schedules).
Student-athletes in the Developmental Program go through a comprehensive evaluation that takes into consideration all elements of the game. The evaluation and development is overseen by a Coach-Manager who directs the student’s progress throughout the semester/year.
Once the initial evaluation is complete, Coach-Managers will determine the individual direction of each student and implement a detailed developmental plan. Short and long-term strategy is discussed in order to achieve each student’s goals. Representatives from each department are periodically present on the court to observe and evaluate progress and make sure individual needs are being met. Parents will receive regular progress reports from their respective Coach-Manager.

Students enroll in the Evert Tennis Academy on an annual or semester basis. The program costs are as follows:

- Tuition is payable in advance, either by semester or for the full academic year.
- A $4,000 non-refundable deposit is payable upon acceptance to reserve a place.This deposit is credited towards whatever payment plan is selected.
- Winter Vacation is from December 21, 2024 to January 5, 2025. Dorms are closed during these 2 weeks. Not included in tuition.
- Spring Break (2 weeks) is from March 16, 2025 to March 29, 2025. Not included in tuition.
- Boarding includes: accommodations, 3 meals per day, tennis program (inclusive of fitness and mental training) and local transportation when available.
- Please contact GRANDVIEW PREP for tuition rates. The academic school needs to be paid separately. The prices above do not include school.
Prospective students interested in Boarding at the Evert Tennis Academy are required to stay on campus for one week to gain the full experience and expectations of Evert. During your stay, you will be evaluated by our Coaches and Staff in regards to tennis ability, academic standing, boarding, and be assessed as an overall individual. We believe this evaluation is in the best interest of prospective students and upholds the integrity of Evert Tennis Academy. The Academy Program at Evert is geared towards players who are committed to an intensive training schedule in an effort to maximize their potential both on and off the court. Through a daily regimen of technical, tactical, mental, and physical training, the Academy Program at Evert systematically addresses every aspect of a player’s game. The morning training session is composed of drilling, and strength and conditioning. The program is continued in the afternoon with a focus towards competition and tactics. Combined with physical conditioning, mental toughness and nutritional training, the Academy Program aims to reach individual goals.
Players have open access to a Coach-Manager and full integration with the players in the Developmental Program. The Evert Tennis Academy Programs efficiently deliver results, while still promoting the student-athlete as a whole.
Students typically enroll in the Academy at Evert on an annual or semester basis.

The Afternoon Academy is geared towards 12-and-under players who are committed to an intensive training program, but are limited due to school schedules. This program is designed for players wanting to develop the fundamentals needed to become world-class junior players, and ultimately college or professional players.
The Afternoon Academy’s main focus is directed towards movement and competition, including technical and tactical elements.We know the importance of efficient and explosive movement and footwork so we focus on the things below:
- The ability to “see” the ball early
- First reaction to the ball
- Contact moves (footwork before, during and after contact with the ball)
- Recovery
Students enroll in the Afternoon Academy on an annual or semester basis. We do have a limited enrollment in order to keep the coach-to-student ratio small – make sure to sign-up early to reserve your spot in the program!
Training will start at 3:45PM and it will end at 5:45PM Monday through Friday. We will also provide fitness twice a week depending on the training cycle.

ACADEMICS
Evert Tennis Academy supports academic success and believes that education should not take a back seat to performance training. Rather, our methods are geared to produce well-rounded and well-educated student-athletes. We provide leading edge technology, tutorial support, ACT prep courses and SAT prep courses while offering the flexibility and attention that a serious athlete requires. To date, 100% of Evert Tennis Academy graduates who have pursued a college scholarship have received at least some financial assistance.
EVERT TENNIS ACADEMY HOSTS A FULLY ACCREDITED, NCAA-APPROVED, COLLEGE PREPARATORY HIGH SCHOOL ON CAMPUS
Evert Tennis Academy hosts a fully accredited, NCAA-approved, college preparatory high school on campus with low teacher/student ratios to meet the unique challenges of student-athletes.
Grandview Preparatory School is an independent college preparatory, nonsectarian, coeducational day school founded in Boca Raton, FL in 1997. It offers enrollment for Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 and was the sole recipient of the 2019 Best of Boca Raton Award in the Private Schools category.
Grandview Prep has taken customized education to the next level with its partnership with the Evert Tennis Academy. It brings its curriculum, faculty and commitment to personalized learning directly into our campus for students training at ETA. Students have the opportunity to build a customized schedule based on their academic interests and desired goals. This accommodating, well rounded academic experience provides students the time to develop their athletic talents to their highest potential.
Programming at Grandview fosters creativity, community service, and academic success. Grandview offers unique, student-centered programs meant to inspire learners, a safe, nurturing, and challenging environment with an emphasis on character development and service. BOARDING VS NON-BOARDING
BOARDING PROGRAM SCHEDULE
- Check-in is Sunday between 3:00PM-5:00PM
- Check-out is Saturday between 8AM and 11AM.

- Evening & Weekend (if stay is multiple weeks) activities include tournaments, the beach, pool, movies, malls, sport events and much more!
Upen check-in at the Evert Tennis Academy, each student is assigned a room. Plane tickets, passport, all medication and important documents must be handed in for safe-keeping during the student’s stay. A daily schedule will be given to each student at check-in. Orientation for students is held after dinner on Sunday evening. All rules and regulations are covered and student’s questions are answered.
Boarding students age 18 and younger enrolled in the Academy, Weekly or Camp programs, stay in a three-story dormitory. Each dorm room houses up to four students during summer sessions. There is a bathroom between each pair of rooms which is professionally cleaned on a weekly basis. Boys and girls are housed on separate floors in the dorms.
All rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with wireless internet access. Each floor has security cameras and counselor rooms. On the first floor of the dormitory, there is the cafeteria, lounge, laundry room, and a student common area. The Student Services staff regularly inspects rooms, bathrooms and common areas several times every day to ensure appropriate living conditions. Boarding students eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner in our Cafeteria. To satisfy appetites from varied backgrounds and cultures, Evert Tennis Academy provides an ample range of cuisine and multiple nutritional selections for each meal. We accommodate for allergies, please ask us about it.
Airport Transportation
The Evert Tennis Academy conveniently provides one on one airport transportation for our boarding students, for a fee (subject to change), to all three area international airports:
(PBI) West Palm Beach (40 minutes)
(FLL) Fort Lauderdale (40 minutes)
(MIA) Miami International (55 minutes)

NON-BOARDING PROGRAM SCHEDULE
- Check-in is on Monday 15 minutes prior the Start Time. A Evert staff member will contact you on the Friday prior arrival to let you know about the Start Time.
- Program ends Friday at 3:30PM or at 5:00PM depending on the schedule.
